Each week our pro staff will focus on one aspect of the game so you can improve on the parts of your game that need work. Stroke of the Week is offered Thursday from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Top Dog Doubles
Top Dog Doubles is an extremely popular league in which people try to accumulate the most points by the end of the season. In the fall/winter/spring It is offered on 3 different nights based on one's level, and in the summer it is offered 2 nights per week. Each night you are guaranteed three sets with three different partners. Thus, each week you can enjoy fun competitive doubles without having to worry about organizing and finding people to play, just show up. Remember though, although overall you will always find a fun friendly atmosphere, everyone is trying to be "Top Dog." For more information check-out the Top Dog Doubles flyer. For a well rounded program you should try Tennis "Fun"damentals! This four week course covers all the basics and on-court strategy. Whether you are just starting out, getting back in the game, or play regularly, you will get a lot out of 4 weeks of Tennis "Fun"damentals. Classes are offered for beginner to intermediate players. High Intensity Drills
If you are the type of person that wants to hit a lot of balls and get lots of personalized coaching then you will like the New High Intensity Drills. Drills are limited to no more than 6 students to 1 instructor. We ask that you sign-up for classes that are consistent with your NTRP level. Sunday Social Mixer
Let the Shellaberger staff be your host as you join other members for an afternoon of mixed-up doubles, where fun, competition and socializing are the order of the day. You’ll play with several partners and opponents in one afternoon. We encourage players of all levels 3.0 to 4.5 and above to participate. Come alone or with friends. Only offered between Nov - Feb. Anytime Singles League
Looking to challenge yourself against other players on the singles court? The Anytime singles league is for you! The league is for singles lovers of all levels and broken down into five different divisions. NTRP Season Finale Tournament
Play in New Mexico's last NTRP tournament of the year! In 2020 it will be the weekend of Dec. 4, 5, & 6. New Mexico's version of the "Master's Series." Whether you are chasing tournament points to finish your ranking as high as possible, or looking to get in one last weekend of good fun and good competition before the holidays it's always a great time. 40 and over teams are forming now, let us know if you would like to join one of our teams! Our teams compete against other clubs in Northern New Mexico. Lots of excellent tennis was enjoyed the weekend of July 30-Aug. 1. as part of this year's Indoor Leg of the Southwest Slam! Most division in this tournament are based on age, not NTRP, so it's a test of who is the best of their generation. We are the indoor portion of the Southwest Slam, which includes an indoor hard-court (us), an outdoor hard-court, clay, and even a grass tournament. Click here to see draws for this year's tournament!
